The Saint Andrew's Annual Auction Dinner Dance will feature a silent and live auction as dinner and dancing. We have heard your requests for MORE DANCING and will make sure you have lots of time to boogie! Due to the succes of last year's online auction, we will offer more items this year. The online auction will allow those who cannot attend to bid on some wonderful items and support the school. The online auction will be open for bidding on February 2, 2009.
The proceeds will directly benefit financial aid, faculty endowment funds, and programs to enhance the school's curriculum in areas of educational excellence, athletics, and the visual and performing arts. This event will also feature Bid from the Heart for Breakthrough at Saint Andrew's, formerly known as Summerbridge. This program provides tuition-free summer and school-year academic enrichment classes for bright, under-served public middle school students.
In tribute to the new Moabery Early Years Learning Center, the first JK-12 school registered as a "LEED for Schools" project in South Florida, our auction is going ‘green'. Every effort is being made to conserve, recycle, and reuse. In support of the visual arts, this year's event features the amazing performance art of Michael Israel. You can check out his unique style of art at http://michaelisrael.com In addition to the online auction, silent auction, and live auction, Michael will create masterpieces before your eyes that will be auctioned that evening. There will truly be something for everyone at this event!
Please consider how you can serve the school by participating in this event. We ask that you examine your resources and contacts to identify an auction item of any type or value. Please consider an item donation, a sponsorship as a benefactor, a table sponsorship or purchasing a business or personal ad in the journal.
